Federally Employed Women

is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1968 after the issuance of Executive Order 11375 that added "sex" to the prohibited discriminations within the federal government. FEW works to end sex discrimination and towards the advancement of women in federal service and all women.

Regional Training Program was held April 15, 2023 at the Country Inn & Suites, Lincoln North Hotel and Conference Center, 5353 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE 66521.

Region Goals

The goals for the Mid-Continent Region include:

Assist with the development of new chapters
To increase FEW memberships
Enhance the visibility of FEW
Provide quality training programs
Support Chapter Presidents and Regional Officers
Serve as a conduit to keep all FEW members informed of what is going on nationally, as well as, within our region
Provide mentoring opportunities
Expand the Regional Newsletter to keep members informed and upport the missions of FEW
